Subject:  DNC Leak

Dear Mr. President,

An acquaintance who works with the Democrat syndicate, tells me that he is disgusted with the things they are doing, and thus he has asked me to leak to you a plan that is still secret.  I may NOT identify him, so you may need to try to verify some of the following.

Here is a leaked draft of a note sent to Joe Biden by Nancy Pelosi.

Dear Joe,

Below is a brief outline of a plan to end the problem of unemployment in our country.  Of course, it will please all those who are unemployed or facing the prospect of unemployment due to Covid19 or any other reason.  It should be very popular because of the universal security it offers to all our people.

Your opinion, please:  Should this bill be introduced into the House ASAP, or just before the election, or even after we win the election?

Nancy

The Way to Full Employment

It has been recognized that losing your job is one of the most stressful events in your life.  Politicians have talked about unemployment as a major problem to be addressed as long as I can remember, and, I do not doubt, long before that.  It is about time Congress produced legislation to give a definitive fix to this horrible, chronic problem.  Here is a description of the legislative solution:

  • No employee shall be laid off, downsized, rightsized, canned, fired, or otherwise become unemployed.  Any employer who no longer needs an employee will find him or her a position with another employer.
  • Any person who is unemployed at the time this program is enacted shall immediately become an employee of the government.  The government, unless it need the employee, will find him or her a position with another employer, in accordance with paragraph (1) .
  • Employers will provide employees with food, shelter, and clothing, medical care, childcare, and funeral expenses as needed, plus any job training necessary for the work that they do.

It has been alleged that employers will be unable to afford these benefits.  This was proven false over 200 years ago.  Plantation workers in the Old South had all these benefits without bankrupting their employers.  The only difference is that this new job security system will apply to all Americans, not just to one favored ethnic group.
